Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Shrock Mekay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Achilles Doukas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doukas has chosen The Pretender as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shrock Mekay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Achilles Doukas!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mekay throws a right and a left that Doukas avoids nicely.
Mekay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mekay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doukas.
Mekay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Donk. Doukas catches Mekay right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Shrock Mekay has been cut.
Mekay throws a low kick, looking for Doukas's leg but Doukas calmly moves out of range.
Doukas pushes Mekay away with a front kick.
Mekay has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Doukas.
An inside leg kick lands from Doukas.
Doukas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Doukas slips a jab and a cross from Mekay.
Mekay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mekay misses with the combination.
Doukas looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mekay swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Doukas scores with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doukas thuds his right hand into Mekay's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Doukas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mekay.
Mekay walks straight into a solid jab from Doukas. Oh, it looks like it's stumbled him! Doukas follows up with a big combo - a right followed by a left that knocks Mekay out cold! Mekay toppled like a tree, face planting on the canvas. Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Achilles Doukas!
Achilles Doukas gave a mention to Alpha-Male Nutritional Supplements Q160/$195 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
