The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazaro throws out a loose jab but Rumble uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lazaro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rumble circles away.
Nice body kick there by Rumble.
Rumble connects with a crisp jab.
Lazaro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rumble! But no joy.

and Lazaro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

An inside leg kick from Rumble misses.
Rumble connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Rumble cracks Lazaro with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lazaro looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rumble finish him?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lazaro is holding his hands too far apart here. Rumble throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Lazaro is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
