Fadden comes to the cage accompanied by Bring The Noise by Anthrax & Public Enemy. John Fadden could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Roland Moore's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, John Fadden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roland Moore!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden misses with a looping left.
Fadden throws a push kick but Moore slaps the foot to one side.
Moore throws a lazy right hand but Fadden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moore has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Fadden is landing a low percentage of strikes.

letting Fadden counter with a right hand.
Fadden goes for a double leg but Moore avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Moore continues to drive forward.

Moore tries to keep at a distance but Fadden has taken the fight into the clinch.

Fadden drags the fight down to the ground.

Fadden is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moore sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fadden's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fadden has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Moore won't allow Fadden to sweep him here.

Fadden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Moore takes a swing at Fadden's ribcage but misses.

Moore gets tackled into the cage by Fadden. Fadden maintains the clinch.

Moore is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fadden pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Fadden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Moore is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fadden blocks an uppercut.
Fadden is pressed up against the cage. Moore has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fadden down to the mat. Fadden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A head kick misses from Fadden.
Moore uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fadden.
Fadden throws a lazy body kick
and Fadden takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Fadden counters with a nice double leg into side control. Moore won't be happy with that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fadden cracks Moore with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Fadden!
