Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Gore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gore keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Atkinson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gore! But no joy.
Gore throws a body kick that misses.
Gore misses with an attempted mid kick.
Atkinson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Gore has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gore loads up on a big right hand but Atkinson slips the punch.
A slow jab from Gore misses its intended target.

Gore moves away from the strike by Atkinson.
Atkinson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Atkinson feints and then cracks Gore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gore down.
Gore throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Atkinson looks to land a combination but Gore avoids it well.

Ivan Gore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Atkinson tries to clinch up but Gore pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Atkinson to the mat! Atkinson covers up and Gore unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
