Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chico Morales is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carlos Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chico Morales!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morales misses with a series of wild punches.
Morales gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Morales tries to land knees in the clinch but Silva avoids the damage to the body.
Morales manages to pull guard.
Morales has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.
Morales wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Silva has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Morales to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Silva is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Morales pulls down on the head and he's put Silva to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chico Morales!
In his post fight interview, Chico Morales started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
