Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between God Zilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saipul Jamil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zilla darts in and clinches Jamil up against the cage.
Zilla is stalling here.
Jamil has had enough of the clinch but Zilla keeps him there for the moment.
Zilla displaying some good clinch control by pressing Jamil up against the cage.
Zilla manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zilla is pulling down on Jamil's head. It's preventing any offense from Jamil, at least for the moment.

Zilla prevents a body shot from Jamil.
Jamil is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Jamil is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zilla jumps guard and drags Jamil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jamil gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Zilla shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jamil sprawls well. Jamil wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Zilla gets slowly back to his feet.
Jamil takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Jamil throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jamil walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zilla checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Zilla shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jamil napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jamil throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Zilla closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jamil circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for God Zilla. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A low kick from Jamil is predictable there
and Zilla counters with a single leg into guard. Jamil didn't expect that.
Jamil manages to escape and get back to his feet.
A left and a right from Jamil both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jamil tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Zilla throws a counter high kick but Jamil was just alert enough to avoid it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Zilla or perhaps it was just good defense by Jamil, which made it look bad.
Zilla is breathing heavily.
Sloppy strikes from Jamil. Those never looked like landing.
Zilla gets the takedown into side control.
Jamil explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Zilla is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jamil sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Zilla is trying to pull guard but Jamil turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Jamil struggles to land a body shot inside as Zilla controls his hands.
Zilla escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zilla rushes Jamil and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Zilla jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jamil walks away with a smile on his face. Zilla gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zilla has closed the distance and engaged Jamil in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Zilla shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Zilla's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Zilla has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jamil can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zilla shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jamil's guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Zilla in particular looking to stall.

Zilla is taking a breather. Jamil says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Zilla is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Zilla is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zilla connects with a nice short shot to Jamil's temple.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Zilla is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jamil is just riding it out for now. Zilla eventually gives up the hold.
Zilla moves into full mount! Jamil won't be happy about that!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jamil gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jamil wriggles free and stands up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jamil has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Zilla has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Jamil is pressed up against the cage. Zilla has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jamil down to the mat. Jamil avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jamil connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Jamil shoots in for a double leg but Zilla sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Zilla drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Zilla misses with a short punch on the inside.
Zilla decides to pull guard.
Zilla doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Jamil wants to stand but Zilla is controlling his posture from full guard.

Zilla has his foot on Jamil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jamil works his way back into a safe position though.
Zilla has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Jamil decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
God Zilla has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Saipul Jamil seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jamil blocks a leg kick.

Saipul Jamil comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jamil has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
