Monroy looks to land a strike but Malone avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Malone manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Monroy manages to get himself to full guard.

Monroy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Malone doesn't defend quickly enough and Monroy has managed to lock this one up! Can Malone escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Monroy on a fantastic submission victory.
