PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drake Foryeski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beast has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The Beast is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Beast!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Beast defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Foryeski.

Foryeski closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beast circles away.
Foryeski definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Beast leaves Foryeski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Beast tries to counter it with a takedown but Foryeski pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The Beast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The Beast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Beast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
