Fredriksen comes to the cage accompanied by Indestructible by Rancid. Clements is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tech N9ne - Straight Out The Gate. Tim Fredriksen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clements fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fredriksen sprawls well initially but Clements persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fredriksen tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Clements lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clements is trying to control the action in half guard but Fredriksen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Fredriksen is looking to improve his position.
Clements seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Clements lands with a punch from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Clements connects with a nice short shot to Fredriksen's temple.

Clements lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fredriksen quite badly. Fredriksen pulls Clements in close trying to recover. Clements postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fredriksen on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fredriksen doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
