Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobbie Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike MIles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobbie Stokes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike MIles!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MIles tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stokes is able to avoid easily.
Stokes is looking to counter the offense by MIles and move into the clinch.
MIles finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Stokes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
MIles trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Stokes keeping moving, preventing MIles from controlling successfully.
MIles throws an elbow that misses. Stokes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in MIles's guard. Nice move by Stokes!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stokes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Stokes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as MIles works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stokes is fighting to break MIles's control of his arms but MIles is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

MIles has a closed guard, preventing Stokes from standing up.
MIles should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
MIles is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
MIles lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Stokes wants to stand up but MIles is controlling him.
MIles lands a couple of elbows.
MIles told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
MIles sitting in guard here, content to control.

MIles drops back looking for a leg! Stokes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stokes manages to kick MIles off! MIles jumps back into Stokes's guard.

MIles gets to his feet - Stokes follows without any prompting.

MIles looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Stokes!
Stokes is not content to let MIles control the position.

MIles thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

MIles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stokes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

MIles just content to control the position.
MIles has knee on belly and moves into mount.

MIles wants to finish this one by submission but Stokes is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from MIles.

MIles is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stokes is surviving well by controlling MIles's body position as best he can.
MIles lands a big elbow.

MIles has hold of Stokes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stokes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
MIles wants to control the pace but Stokes is squirming around nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Stokes tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stokes is squirming around, avoiding MIles's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike MIles dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


MIles shoots and misses
and Stokes counters with a thumping low kick.
Stokes stuffs the takedown attempt from MIles. MIles gets slowly back to his feet.
Stokes attempts a counter takedown but MIles avoids it well and moves away.

MIles manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stokes on his heels. He'll look to pass Stokes's guard now, I'm sure.

MIles has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
MIles shoots for a double leg takedown but Stokes sprawls well. He's pushed MIles's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bobbie Stokes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike MIles.

Stokes appears to be looking for a big counter.

Stokes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
MIles tries to clinch up.
Stokes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

MIles closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Stokes's guard.
MIles tries to free his leg and advance position but Stokes is retaining full guard.
Stokes is trying to control the position but MIles postures up.
MIles with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Stokes wants to get back to his feet but MIles is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

MIles drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stokes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now MIles has Stokes in his guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

MIles seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Stokes is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
