A fine choice. Ferdum has chosen PARIS - the devil made me do it as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Wabricio Ferdum enters the cage!

Newton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ferdum throws a series of punches but Newton moves out of range.
Newton has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 5 Star Spar Bazaar in the buildup to the fight.
Newton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ferdum.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferdum bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Newton throws a hook to the side of Ferdum's head but Ferdum sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ferdum get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Ferdum stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Newton runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Cam Newton decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
