The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Conte counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Machado thinking.
Machado avoids a kick to the body.
Machado went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Conte throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Conte slips a jab and a cross from Machado.
A jab from Machado misses.
Machado smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Conte.
Machado checks a low kick from Conte.
Machado misses with a few strikes there.
A countering left hand to the body from Conte misses.
Conte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Machado throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Machado lands a high kick to the side of Conte's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Machado dives into guard, looking to finish.

Machado throws the left hand but Conte avoids the punch easily.
Machado lands a nice shot that snaps Conte's head back.

Conte fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machado, pushing him back against the cage.
Machado lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Machado is trying to push Conte away but Conte has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Conte misses with a body punch.
The referee calls for Conte to work.
Conte tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Machado avoids it.

Machado pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Eliézer Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conte Throws a clean left jab. Conte Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Machado's chin! Machado crumbles to the ground and Conte follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Conte!
