Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bipolor Opposite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clinton Smaxsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smaxsons has chosen "X gon' give it to ya" by DMX as his entrance music. Clinton Smaxsons will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bipolor Opposite!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clinton Smaxsons!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaxsons throws a right hand that misses

and Opposite counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smaxsons won't be happy with that.
Opposite controlling the position.
Smaxsons felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Opposite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Opposite has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Opposite.

Smaxsons sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Opposite wants to pass to mount but Smaxsons is defending the position.
Opposite content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Opposite's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Opposite looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Opposite works his foot free and advances to mount.
Opposite takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Smaxsons is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Opposite has taken his back!
Opposite is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Smaxsons wants to escape the position.
What can Smaxsons do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Smaxsons trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Opposite misses with a low kick.
Nice defenses there by Opposite.
Opposite feinted with a counter takedown.
Smaxsons looks to land a right hand but Opposite moved out of range.
Smaxsons takes a swing at Opposite's ribcage but misses.
Opposite attempts a counter takedown but Smaxsons avoids it well and moves away.
Opposite tried to score with a low kick but Smaxsons checks it.
Smaxsons slips a straight right by Opposite.

Opposite closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Smaxsons fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Smaxsons has closed the distance and engaged Opposite in a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Opposite.

Opposite tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Opposite has Smaxsons pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Smaxsons manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Smaxsons swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Smaxsons misses with a punch on the inside.
Smaxsons misses with a short punch on the inside.
Opposite blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Smaxsons swings wildly with an uppercut but Opposite uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short right from Smaxsons on the inside.
Smaxsons misses with some punches.
Smaxsons is pressed up against the cage. Opposite has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smaxsons down to the mat. Smaxsons avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Smaxsons ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Opposite moves away.
Smaxsons throws a hook but Opposite avoids it easily.
Opposite takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Opposite staying out of range there.
Opposite works the jab nicely.
Opposite takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Smaxsons walks forward, straight into a front kick from Opposite.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smaxsons throws out a loose jab but Opposite uses good head movement to avoid it.
Opposite takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Clinton Smaxsons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smaxsons thuds his right hand into Opposite's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
An inside leg kick from Opposite misses.

Smaxsons lands a big uppercut and Opposite crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Opposite looks OK. Smaxsons waves Opposite back to his feet!


Opposite is rocked!
Smaxsons lands a jab to Opposite's midsection.
Oh Opposite is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Opposite is aggressively charging in as Smaxsons backs up avoiding any damage. Smaxsons tosses out a jab and Opposite runs right into it face first! Opposite is out cold! Smaxsons dropped down on all fours and is barking in Opposite's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clinton Smaxsons!

Post fight, an emotional Clinton Smaxsons said 'I had my very first fight in this company and since then I've been knocking out my opponents time after time. I'm putting DFC Las Vegas on notice. It is my time for that belt. So shine it up real nice and prepare to give it to it's rightful owner!'.
