The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byers blocks a head kick by Mata.

It looks like Margarito Byers has been cut.
Mata throws a head kick that misses.
Byers drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mata sprawls and moves away.
Mata goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Mata lands a head kick. Byers smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Byers is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Mata throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Byers's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mata lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
