Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Da Nero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Nero comes into the arena with My Top 10 Moments blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Nero shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Miller shoots in and gets a takedown into Da Nero's guard.
Da Nero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Miller working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Da Nero's head.
Da Nero is looking to sweep but instead, Miller has passed into half guard.
Still in half guard, Miller seems content to control.
Da Nero is looking to control Miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Da Nero avoid being mounted?
Miller lands with a punch from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Da Nero tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg.

Miller wants to work for an arm triangle but Da Nero is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Miller throws the kick towards the body but Da Nero avoids it.

Miller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Da Nero quickly recovers to half guard.
Da Nero is trying to escape back to his feet but Miller uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Da Nero wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Miller has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Da Nero's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Da Nero is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Miller!
