and Curtis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lesnar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Horrible takedown attempt by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Curtis, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Curtis sprawls well. Curtis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet.

Curtis's coach down at ReVoLuT!oN !sL@nD GYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Curtis's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Curtis batters Lesnar with a massive right followed by a huge left! Lesnar is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Curtis lands a final crushing right hand to drop Lesnar to the mat with a gruesome thud! Curtis is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ezekiel Curtis decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
