Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Skap Hazard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I ain't turning back. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyron Hendricks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Hazard counters by clinching up.
Hazard misses with the head strike.

Hendricks jumps into guard, dragging Hazard to the mat.
Hazard wants to stand and escape but instead Hendricks has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hendricks wants to control from the top but Hazard keeps moving.
Hendricks looking to sit in guard and control but Hazard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hazard tries to stand but Hendricks is controlling from the bottom.

Hendricks looking for a guillotine here but Hazard defends easily.
Hazard wants to stand but Hendricks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Hendricks had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hazard defends it easily.

Hazard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hazard connects with the punch.
Hendricks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A swing and a miss from Hendricks.
Hendricks closes the distance and clinches up with Hazard, looking for a takedown. Hendricks pushes Hazard against the cage but Hazard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hazard tries to clinch but Hendricks moves out of range.
Hendricks swings widly with a right hand
and Hazard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hendricks misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hazard.
An attempted straight right counter from Hazard misses the target.
Hendricks throws a body punch but Hazard moves out of range.
Hendricks fails with the takedown
and Hendricks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Tyron Hendricks has been cut.

Hazard lands a head shot.

and Hazard rattles Hendricks with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Hendricks tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Hazard dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Hendricks stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Skap Hazard!
Skap Hazard decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Tyron Hendricks spoke after the fight, saying 'Congratulations to my opponent. A disappointing loss, but I'm not going to give up. Back to the gym at first chance. '.
