Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dikunov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dahl can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dikunov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Dikunov wants to control from the top but Dahl keeps moving.
Dikunov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dahl swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dikunov closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dahl counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Ury Dikunov has been cut.

Dikunov misses with a takedown attempt - Dahl sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dikunov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dahl sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dahl feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dikunov sprawling to the canvas! Dikunov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dahl finish him?!
Dikunov is rocked!
Ury Dikunov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dahl throws an overhand right that drops Dikunov like a sack of potatoes! Dahl dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otto Dahl!
A relieved looking Otto Dahl thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
