Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy comes to the cage accompanied by Battering Ram - 'Come Out and Fight' Irish Folk. Yamada has chosen good luck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murphy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Yamada is working to avoid the ground and pound but Murphy connects with a decent elbow.
Murphy grinds an elbow into Yamada's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murphy has hold of Yamada's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yamada tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Murphy cranks the arm and Yamada screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yamada, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Daniel Murphy spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Leon Yamada was interviewed post fight and said 'Good job man.'.
