Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Gene Sarazen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock has chosen Guns N Roses- Sweet Child O Mine as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gene Sarazen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lance Rock!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarazen shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rock has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rock ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rock moves out of range of the strikes.
Rock looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Sarazen moves into the clinch.

Sarazen lands a head shot.

and Sarazen counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rock will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Rock counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sarazen's knee momentarily.
Sarazen throws a looping overhand right but Rock ducks down to avoid it.
Sarazen looks to land a left hand but Rock moved out of range nicely.

Rock has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sarazen.
Rock lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rock uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sarazen.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sarazen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rock follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Sarazen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rock wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Rock lands a really nice looking cross but Sarazen seems unphased.

Sarazen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Rock replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Sarazen blocks it well.
Rock connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sarazen. Sarazen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sarazen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd cheers as Rock lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sarazen doesn't seem phased though.
Sarazen throws a hook to the side of Rock's head but Rock sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sarazen throws a shot from downtown. Rock moves away and avoids it.

Sarazen closes the distance and pushes Rock back into the ropes.

Sarazen tries to work over Rock's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rock digs a right hand underneath Sarazen's ribcage. Sarazen let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Sarazen throws a punch but it's blocked by Rock.
Sarazen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Rock misses with a punch to the body.

Sarazen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from Sarazen finds it's way through Rock's defenses.
Sarazen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rock manages to avoid it.
Rock flicks out a counter leg kick but Sarazen steps away.
Sarazen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lance Rock is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rock takes one to the side of the head.
Sarazen throws a right hand that misses
and Rock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Good exchange - Rock coming out on top.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gene Sarazen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Sarazen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sarazen.

Rock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
