Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lemuel Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheriff Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sheriff Walls has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lemuel Hoffman's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walls rushes Hoffman and presses him up against the cage.
Walls has Hoffman pressed against the cage, preventing Hoffman from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hoffman wants to break free but Walls has control.
Hoffman really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Walls wants to take the fight to the mat but Hoffman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Walls is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Walls is trying to drag Hoffman to the mat but Hoffman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Walls throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hoffman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Walls has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hoffman uses from the top position.

Hoffman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Walls for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lemuel Hoffman.
I think Hoffman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
