Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hundo Varga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lean Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hundo Varga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lang scores with a hook to the body. Varga takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jab by Lang.
Lang throws a body punch but Varga moves out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from Varga misses its target.

Varga shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lang can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Varga forces his way into half guard.
Varga is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've been hearing that Varga has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Varga is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lang is just riding it out for now. Varga eventually gives up the hold.

Varga is looking for a kimura here.

Varga is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lang has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Varga uses his free foot to push down on Lang's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lang.

Varga is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lang can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Varga jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lang manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Lang is trying to escape the position but Varga is controlling the position.
Lang is not content to let Varga control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Varga thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Varga walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Varga tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lang swivels and escapes.
A slow jab from Varga misses its intended target.
Lang throws a hook to the side of Varga's head but Varga sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Lang connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Varga is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lang can do to turn this around?

Lang throws an overhand right that drops Varga like a sack of potatoes! Lang dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
