Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Reealopubo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron McGinnis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reealopubo comes to the cage accompanied by Chop Suey. McGinnis has chosen Star.One - Original Badman Feat. Takura & Assassin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aaron McGinnis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron McGinnis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGinnis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McGinnis cracks Reealopubo with a right hand to the side of the head.


Reealopubo is rocked!


It looks like Joe Reealopubo has been cut.
McGinnis scores with a nice strike.
Oh Reealopubo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGinnis lands a jab to Reealopubo's midsection.
A jab from McGinnis misses.
Reealopubo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McGinnis lands a body shot.

McGinnis throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Reealopubo tumbling to the canvas!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reealopubo is wriggling around but McGinnis manages to pass to half guard.
McGinnis moves into full mount! Reealopubo won't be happy about that!
McGinnis looking to control and managing it successfully.
Reealopubo seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGinnis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
More stalling from McGinnis.
McGinnis is continuing to stall.
McGinnis with more of the same as he continues to hold on.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reealopubo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
McGinnis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
McGinnis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Reealopubo is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
McGinnis controlling from the full mount.
Reealopubo is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGinnis controlling the pace for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Reealopubo really wants to buck McGinnis off and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaron McGinnis dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Joe Reealopubo's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


McGinnis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Reealopubo eats them both and turns towards McGinnis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Reealopubo darts in trying to clinch

and Reealopubo is countered with a crisp right hand from McGinnis that sends him to the canvas! McGinnis follows him to the mat into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGinnis controls the position.

McGinnis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Reealopubo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McGinnis missing with a left hand there. Reealopubo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Reealopubo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Reealopubo tries to clinch but McGinnis is having none of it.
Jab, jab by McGinnis - just one landing.
McGinnis swats away the attempt to clinch by Reealopubo.
Reealopubo fails with an attempt to clinch.
McGinnis cracks Reealopubo with a hook to the temple - Reealopubo is on wobbly legs here! McGinnis swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Reealopubo falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! McGinnis wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Aaron McGinnis!
Aaron McGinnis decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
