Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Goff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abe Licoln!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goff tries to keep at a distance but Licoln has taken the fight into the clinch.
Goff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Licoln walks away with a smile on his face. Goff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Goff avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Goff throws a low kick but it's checked well by Licoln.
Goff throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Licoln throws a head kick that misses.
Licoln tries to clinch there but Goff circles away.
Goff throws a nice outside leg kick.
Licoln avoids the head kick by Goff.

Licoln instigates a clinch.
Licoln creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Goff's defenses.


It looks like Jack Goff has been cut.
Goff misses with a body punch.
Licoln tries a knee to the head but Goff blocks it.
Goff tries to throw a body punch but Licoln avoids it by throwing Goff back against the cage.
Goff is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Goff pulls guard effortlessly.
Goff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Licoln postures up in Goff's guard and throws a big left but Goff blocks it.
Licoln slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Licoln throws a strike but Goff rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Goff wants to pass the guard but Licoln is keeping the position.

Goff drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Licoln manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Goff has Licoln in his guard.

Goff pulls Licoln in close to his closed guard and prevents Licoln from doing any damage or advancing position.
Goff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Licoln is controlling Goff's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Licoln is looking to escape.

Goff landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Goff not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Licoln is trying to control but can't.
Goff is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Licoln pushes Goff off looking to stand but Goff dives back in and keeps control.

Goff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Licoln flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Goff not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Goff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Goff is pressing down on Licoln's thigh, looking to free his foot. Licoln is holding on for now.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Goff scores with a head kick. Licoln tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Licoln throws a leg kick but Goff sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That kick from Licoln tenderised Goff's leg. Goff is trying to keep his angry face on.
Goff takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Abe Licoln seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Licoln pinned against the cage. Licoln gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Goff throws a head kick that half lands.
Licoln fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Goff.

Goff has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Licoln.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Licoln accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
