Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iko Ruhian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorry Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruhian comes to the ring accompanied by Kendang Pencak. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton tries for a takedown but Ruhian circles away easily
and Ruhian counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Jorry Benton has been cut.
We've been told by Ruhian's head coaches at Tōshi that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ruhian loads up on a big right hand but Benton slips the punch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ruhian enables Benton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ruhian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Benton passes into half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Benton working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Benton works his foot free and advances to mount.
Benton prevents Ruhian from getting the reversal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ruhian tries to lock up and control but Benton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Benton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Benton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ruhian looks to move to half guard but instead Benton has passed into mount! Damn!
Benton postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ruhian in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ruhian to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
