Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Captain Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sitting Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bull throws a body kick that misses

and Phillips counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Bull is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Phillips defends well.
Phillips advances position into side control!
Bull wants to control but Phillips postures up.

Phillips tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Phillips has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bull tries to buck Phillips off but Phillips is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bull throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Phillips wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bull, who protects the arm well.
Phillips trying to control the action but Bull is working from the bottom.

Phillips tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bull's legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bull is trying to improve his position.

Phillips is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bull knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Phillips wants to control but Bull is keeping him busy.

Bull is refusing to be controlled, as Phillips sits in half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bull is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Phillips pulls his head out easily.
Bull keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Phillips looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Phillips is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bull defends it well.

Bull is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Phillips is tapping! Great win for Bull!
