Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amr Al As (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marlo Stanfield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amr Al As!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanfield tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Al As manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It seemed like Al As was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Stanfield displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Al As has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Al As swings for the body but Stanfield moves out of range.
Stanfield shoots in and drives through. Al As sprawls well.
Stanfield is looking to clinch but Al As is avoiding it.
Stanfield tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Al As swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marlo Stanfield. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stanfield closes the distance looking to clinch
and Al As counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stanfield tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Al As paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Al As bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Marlo Stanfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stanfield gets a takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stanfield thows a huge punch but Al As dodges it nicely.

Stanfield wants to lay and pray for a moment but Al As keeps working.

Stanfield is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Stanfield missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Stanfield throwing shots but Al As is blocking nicely.
Al As wants to get back to full guard.
Al As slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Al As wants to get back to his feet but Stanfield is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Al As not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Al As pulls Stanfield in close to his closed guard and prevents Stanfield from doing any damage or advancing position.
Al As is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stanfield looking to sit in guard and control but Al As gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Stanfield has his foot on Al As's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Al As works his way back into a safe position though.
Stanfield is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Stanfield is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Al As is aware though and is defending well.
Al As trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Al As trying to control the position from guard on top but Stanfield is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Stanfield is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Al As avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Stanfield throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Al As escapes and throws Stanfield's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Stanfield is looking for a sweep.
Al As trying to control the position but Stanfield is working away.
Stanfield tries to buck Al As off but Al As is having none of it.

Al As decides to stand back up.
Stanfield closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Al As counter with a right hand.
Al As slips a straight right by Stanfield.
Amr Al As is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stanfield connects with a high kick.
Al As walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Stanfield tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Al As is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Stanfield misses with a kick to the body
and Stanfield takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stanfield avoids the head kick by Al As.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Amr Al As dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stanfield throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Stanfield connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Al As's hands.
Al As pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stanfield tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stanfield wants to clinch
and Al As counters with a straight right hand.
Stanfield blocks a jab.
Al As avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al As on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Al As scores with a jab to the jaw.


Stanfield is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Al As throws out a powerful jab.
Oh Stanfield is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stanfield misses with the body kick
and Al As rattles Stanfield with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Stanfield tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Al As dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Stanfield stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Amr Al As!
Our winner, Amr Al As, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Marlo Stanfield was interviewed post fight and said 'He got me! Well done to Him,this is not the end for me, I'm gonna take some time, work on my skills the I'll be back! '.
