The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Talley.
Rodriguez fails with a takedown attempt.
Talley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Talley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rodriguez clinches up with Talley and pushes him back against the cage.
Rodriguez lands an elbow that stopped Talley in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Donnie Talley has been cut.
Rodriguez jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Donnie Talley will probably get the nod.

Rodriguez gets control of Talley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rodriguez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
