The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romario tries to close the distance and clinch but Power swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Romario fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Power has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Power dives in and grabs Romario's left leg, looking for a takedown. Romario pushes down on Power's head and hops out.
Romario is looking to clinch but Power is avoiding it.
Romario throws a combination that misses

so Power counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Romario can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Power controls the pace.
Power lands a couple of elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Romario wants to hit a switch here but Power passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Romario there!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romario wants to hold on but Power pushes him away.
Power looking to finish Romario with some ground and pound. This is bad for Romario!

Romario takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Power lands a nice shot to the head.

It looks like Yoel Romario has been cut.

Power is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Romario is forced to tap! Great finish!
