The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helix is looking to land body kicks.
Helix feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rad's calf.
Good leg kick by Rad there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Helix throws a hook but Rad blocks it.
Helix keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A low kick from Rad misses
and Helix counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Helix fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Rad checks it well.
Rad fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Helix has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Rad tries to score with a low kick but Helix moves his leg out of the way.
Helix works the jab nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Helix avoids a kick to the body.
Rad throws a body shot but no joy.
Rad throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
It looked like Helix wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Helix loads up on a big right hand but Rad slips the punch.
Rad feints a counter leg kick.

A low kick from Helix misses
and Rad counters with a solid body kick.
Kyle Rad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Helix throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rad looks for the body kick but Helix saw that one coming.
Rad lands a leg kick that knocks Helix off balance momentarily.
Rad fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Helix.
Helix misses with a body kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rad.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rad.
Rad tries to score with a low kick but Helix moves his leg out of the way.
Helix moves out of range as Rad throws a body kick.

Rad moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Rad takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Helix is pawing at Rad, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Rad's nose. Rad is badly hurt! Helix pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Rad tries desperately to hold on but Helix is relentless in his assault! As Rad receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Helix away and this one is in the books!
