Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Whitehead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Zavimbe!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitehead clinches up with Zavimbe and pushes him back against the cage.
Zavimbe lands a right hand that snaps the head of Whitehead backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Zavimbe.
Zavimbe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stalling in the clinch from Whitehead.
Zavimbe lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Whitehead breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Zavimbe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Zavimbe slaps away a takedown attempt from Whitehead, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Whitehead with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zavimbe to score with a decent uppercut.
Zavimbe lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Zavimbe scores with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Whitehead doesn't manage to clinch there - Zavimbe circles away.
Zavimbe closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Whitehead! Zavimbe dives in looking to finish! Whitehead is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Zavimbe!
