The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigurdsson throws a series of punches but Macleod moves out of range.
Macleod avoids a punch combination nicely.
Macleod fails with the takedown.
Sigurdsson only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sigurdsson.
Macleod looks to move to half guard but instead Sigurdsson has passed into mount! Damn!
Macleod is trying to reverse the position but instead Sigurdsson has taken his back - oops!
Macleod wants to escape the position.
Sigurdsson is riding his opponent, not letting Macleod buck him off.

You can see the frustration on Macleod's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Sigurdsson working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Macleod is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Sigurdsson has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Macleod taps out!

A relieved looking Bjorn Sigurdsson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
