The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wick gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wick dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Wick is trying to trip PercivalH. He has hold of a leg but PercivalH is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wick persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. PercivalH swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wick landing with the ground and pound.

It looks like Kevin PercivalH has been cut.
Wick preventing the sweep.
We've been hearing that Wick has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Wick throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as PercivalH works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
PercivalH is trying to control the position but Wick postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if PercivalH can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. PercivalH swivels though and keeps the full guard.
PercivalH throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
PercivalH is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wick is looking to work some ground and pound but PercivalH has wrist control.
