Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wyatt Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuya Suuou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Wyatt Storm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tatsuya Suuou!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suuou has managed to clinch.
Storm jumps guard but Suuou stands there with Storm around his waist. Storm gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Storm breaks from the clinch.
Suuou attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Suuou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Storm as he avoids it easily.
Tatsuya Suuou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suuou closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Storm quickly recovers to half guard.
Storm is trying to control but can't.
Suuou stalling.
Suuou uses his free foot to push down on Storm's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Storm.
Storm has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Suuou cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Storm is bucking up trying to escape but Suuou cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Storm wants to hold on but Suuou pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Suuou lands a big shot there that rocks Storm but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Suuou takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Suuou closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Storm to the mat! Storm manages to get full guard.
Suuou sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Suuou has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Suuou tries to free his leg and advance position but Storm is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Storm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Storm wants to sweep here but Suuou controlling him for the moment.
Suuou stands up over Storm, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Storm wants to improve his position but instead Suuou has moved into half guard.
Suuou slows the pace down in half guard.
Suuou wants to pass to mount but Storm is defending the position.
Suuou scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Suuou slips a nice elbow through Storm's hands, connecting with Storm's forehead.
Storm looks like he's trying to stand up.
Suuou looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Storm with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Suuou is nestled in close to Storm, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Suuou slows the pace down in half guard.
Suuou prevents Storm from standing back up.
Suuou looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tatsuya Suuou has got the better of the ground game so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Let's hope that Suuou has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tatsuya Suuou showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Suuou takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Storm is kicking away at Suuou from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Suuou grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Storm trying to push Suuou off... Storm taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
