Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wayne moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wayne will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rollins scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Wayne takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wayne fails with the takedown
letting Rollins counter with a right hand.

It looks like Tommy Wayne has been cut.
Rollins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wayne drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rollins defends it well.
Wayne moves out of range of the body kick from Rollins.

Rollins lands a left and a right that send Wayne crashing to the mat, dazed. Rollins thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Wayne is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wayne has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rollins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Wayne seems to have recovered his senses.

Rollins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wayne paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rollins lands a lovely overhand right.
Rollins darts in looking for a takedown but Wayne gets double underhooks and turns Rollins into the cage.
Rollins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Wayne counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rollins!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rollins is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wayne connects with a decent elbow.

Rollins bucks up and tries to throw Wayne off but instead Wayne has got his back!
Wayne is punishing Rollins with some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rollins is trying to get back to his feet but Wayne has full control of the position and if anything, Rollins has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wayne working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Rollins is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Wayne has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Rollins taps out!

Tommy Wayne tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
