Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Morin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinny Morin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vinny Morin!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lesnar is defended easily by Morin.
Lesnar with a poor takedown
and Morin counters with a nice body shot.
Lesnar darts in and clinches Morin up against the cage.
Lesnar ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lesnar no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lesnar wants to stand up but Morin is controlling him.
Morin stands and steps away. Lesnar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lesnar moves into range and clinches up with Morin.
Morin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lesnar darts in and clinches Morin up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lesnar drags the fight down to the ground.
Lesnar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Morin is aware though and is defending well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morin wants to get up but he can't break Lesnar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lesnar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morin manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lesnar won't allow Morin to get back to his feet.
Lesnar pushing down on Morin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Morin pushes Lesnar off looking to stand but Lesnar dives back in and keeps control.
Morin is staying active underneath Lesnar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Morin manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Lesnar keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Lesnar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morin walks away with a smile on his face. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lesnar closes the distance looking to clinch
and Morin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Vinny Morin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Morin, as that shot connected.
Lesnar gets a takedown into half guard.
Morin is trying to escape back to his feet but Lesnar uses the scramble to pass into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lesnar has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Lesnar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lesnar looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Morin is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Lesnar swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Brock Lesnar!
Brock Lesnar retains his featherweight title!
Brock Lesnar spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
