Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niwat Chanpakdee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Harmbe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harmbe drives through and clinches with Chanpakdee against the cage.
Harmbe stalls.
Harmbe has Chanpakdee pressed against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Harmbe.
Chanpakdee blocks a body shot from Harmbe.
I was talking to Chanpakdee's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Chanpakdee trying to control the position but instead, Harmbe has worked for underhooks and has pushed Chanpakdee into the cage.
Chanpakdee avoiding damage as Harmbe throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chanpakdee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harmbe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Chanpakdee stuffs the takedown attempt from Harmbe. Harmbe gets slowly back to his feet.
Harmbe shoots in for a takedown but Chanpakdee shows good takedown defense.
A little feinted left hand from Chanpakdee on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Chanpakdee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harmbe.
Chanpakdee lands with a good body shot.
Harmbe tries to clinch but Chanpakdee is having none of it.

Harmbe closes the distance and clinches.

Harmbe swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Chanpakdee is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Harmbe breaks from the clinch.

Harmbe is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chanpakdee's half guard.
Chanpakdee wants to improve his position but Harmbe is controlling well.

Chanpakdee is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Harmbe has latched onto it... Big trouble! Harmbe pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Chanpakdee is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Harmbe!
