The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fretwell lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mon Ami throws a poor cross that misses
and Fretwell counters with a nice uppercut.
Fretwell misses with a straight right.
Mon Ami lands a leg kick that knocks Fretwell off balance momentarily.

Fretwell thuds his right hand into Mon Ami's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fretwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mon Ami was well out of range. Poor timing from Fretwell.
Mon Ami has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fretwell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mon Ami throws a front kick that sends Fretwell stumbling back into the cage.
