The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liimatainen throws an overhand right that lands on Gracie's shoulder, as Gracie tries to avoid the shot.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Liimatainen throws a counter combo.
Liimatainen throws a nice inside leg kick.
Liimatainen throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gracie feinted with a counter takedown.
Liimatainen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gracie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gracie moves away from the strike by Liimatainen.
Liimatainen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A little jabbing left from Liimatainen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Liimatainen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Gracie is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Liimatainen misses with the combination.
Matti Liimatainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a series of punches but Liimatainen avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Liimatainen moves into the clinch.

Liimatainen has hold of one of Gracie's legs. Gracie is fighting the takedown attempt but Liimatainen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Gracie has his feet on Liimatainen's thighs here. He's pushed Liimatainen off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Liimatainen screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
