Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Clark!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark fails with an attempt to clinch.
Austin works the jab nicely.

Austin throws a body shot but no joy.
Clark doesn't manage to clinch there - Austin circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Austin has Clark pressed against the cage. He pushes Clark back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Austin throws a beautiful elbow that sends Clark crashing to the floor! Austin piles on the pressure with more strikes! Clark is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shane Austin!

During a confident post fight interview, Shane Austin thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
