Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Karl Nerlinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Justin Andrews!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Karl Nerlinger has been cut.
Andrews moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nerlinger connects with a solid leg kick.
Nerlinger takes one to the side of the head.

Nerlinger scores with a takedown into Andrews's guard.
Nerlinger with a flurry of punches that miss.
Andrews is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Nerlinger throws an elbow that misses. Andrews uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nerlinger's guard. Nice move by Andrews!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nerlinger is on top in guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nerlinger is working Andrews over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Andrews pulls Nerlinger in to control the position.
Nerlinger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Nerlinger throwing strikes from guard but Andrews blocks nicely.

Nerlinger trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Nerlinger trying to move into half guard but instead Andrews has managed to sweep!

Andrews really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nerlinger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nerlinger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Andrews defends it easily.
Nerlinger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nerlinger is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Andrews rolls with it to try and escape but Nerlinger cranks on the arm and Andrews is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
