Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeo Jae Suk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jae Suk has chosen DJ SNAKE - GET LOW as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Russell Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 29 - 0, fighting out of London, Yeo Jae Suk!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Wallace.
Jae Suk moves out of range of the body kick.
Jae Suk thinks about the counter body kick.
Wallace thows a body kick. Jae Suk tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Wallace has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Marijuana Gardens in the buildup to the fight.
Wallace misses the jab.
Wallace is looking to slow Jae Suk down with leg kicks.
Jae Suk bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wallace scores with a shot to the body.
Wallace paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jae Suk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wallace.
It seemed like Jae Suk was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wallace lands a really nice looking cross but Jae Suk seems unphased.
Wallace throws a sloppy body shot
and Jae Suk counters with a nice uppercut.
Wallace lands a jab to Jae Suk's midsection.

Jae Suk takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A solid leg kick lands there for Wallace.
Wallace scores with a sloppy right hand. Jae Suk should have avoided that one.
Wallace scores with a decent looking hook.


It looks like Yeo Jae Suk has been cut.

Jae Suk ducks under a wild hook from Wallace.
Jae Suk throws a lazy uppercut
and Wallace counters with a nice uppercut.
Yeo Jae Suk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jae Suk takes one on the button.
A punch combination from Jae Suk misses.
Jae Suk throws a hook but Wallace avoids it easily.

Wallace drops Jae Suk with a beautiful combination! Jae Suk stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wallace is looking for the KO!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wallace gets the takedown into side control.
Wallace tries to advance to mount but can't.
Wallace controlling the position from side mount.
Wallace throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Wallace working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Jae Suk is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wallace has just dragged him back down to the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jae Suk defending against the ground and pound.
Jae Suk is not content to let Wallace control the position.
The strikes coming from Wallace are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Wallace fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Wallace lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Jae Suk throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Jae Suk takes one on the chin but seems OK.


That has opened up Yeo Jae Suk's cut even more.
Wallace misses with a low kick.
Wallace fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jae Suk is out of range.
Jae Suk is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wallace with a body shot.

Jae Suk stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wallace.
An inside leg kick lands from Wallace.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wallace bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jae Suk's head backwards.
Wallace misses with a leg kick
enabling Jae Suk to counter with a crisp jab.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Russell Wallace dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Yeo Jae Suk's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Wallace throws an overhand right that lands on Jae Suk's shoulder, as Jae Suk tries to avoid the shot.
Jae Suk looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Wallace tries a low kick but Jae Suk avoids it.
Jae Suk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jae Suk takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wallace throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jae Suk sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wallace stuns Jae Suk with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wallace lands a left and a right that send Jae Suk crashing to the mat, dazed. Wallace thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wallace connects with a leg kick. Jae Suk looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jae Suk moves out of range as Wallace strikes.
Jae Suk misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jae Suk moves forwards but Wallace connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jae Suk slips under a jab from Wallace.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jae Suk! But no joy.

Wallace lands a big uppercut and Jae Suk crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jae Suk looks OK. Wallace waves Jae Suk back to his feet!


Jae Suk is rocked!


The cut above Yeo Jae Suk's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jae Suk keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Jae Suk misses with a shot to the body
and Wallace counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jae Suk is still on wobbly legs! Can Wallace finish him?
Wallace cracks Jae Suk with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Jae Suk tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wallace pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jae Suk is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russell Wallace!
After winning the bout, Russell Wallace thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
