The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Falcao rushes Dodson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dodson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dodson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Dodson looking to throw knees to the head but Falcao is blocking nicely.
Dodson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Falcao prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benny Dodson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Falcao is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Dodson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Falcao manages to pull guard.
Dodson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dodson tries to stand but Falcao is controlling from the bottom.
Dodson throws a big right hand that misses.
Dodson is looking to work some ground and pound but Falcao has wrist control.

Falcao wants to sweep but no luck.
Falcao seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dodson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dodson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dodson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Falcao works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dodson throwing strikes from guard but Falcao blocks nicely.
Falcao is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Falcao decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Dodson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Falcao throws a right and a left that Dodson avoids nicely.
Esquiva Falcao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dodson needs to keep his hands up - Falcao had a free shot at his head there.
Falcao stalks Dodson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dodson's face. Dodson staggers backwards, shaken.
Dodson really is a fat lump.
Dodson shoots in for a double leg but Falcao sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dodson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Falcao's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Falcao duly obliges.

It looks like Benny Dodson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Falcao throws a series of strikes that have Dodson backpedaling.

Dodson is rocked!

Falcao lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Dodson falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
