Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brendan Conlon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Pepper!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Brendan Conlon has been cut.
Pepper scores with a nice head shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pepper. Conlon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Conlon misses the shot to the body.
Pepper ducks under a wild hook from Conlon.
Brendan Conlon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pepper throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pepper bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Good shot there by Pepper.


Conlon is rocked!
Pepper scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Conlon misses the shot to the body.
Pepper jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Conlon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pepper counters with a nice body shot.
Conlon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Conlon misses with a right hand

and Pepper holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Conlon takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pepper keeps control of Conlon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Pepper throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Pepper is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Pepper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Conlon slips a straight right by Pepper.
Pepper slips under a jab.
Conlon dodges the punch combination from Pepper.

Pepper drops Conlon with a beautiful combination! Conlon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pepper is looking for the KO!
Oh Conlon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BAM! Pepper delivers a spinning backfist that drops Conlon like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Ryan Pepper!
Ryan Pepper is the new lightweight champion!
A less than humble Ryan Pepper misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
