Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cub Lamas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punt Hardman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Punt Hardman!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hardman moves away.
Lamas leaves Hardman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hardman shoots in but no luck this time.
A little feinted left hand from Lamas on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Lamas throws a jab when Hardman was well out of range.
Lamas waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hardman.
Hardman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lamas defends it well.
A jab from Lamas finds it's way through Hardman's defenses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cub Lamas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punt Hardman.
Hardman fails with the takedown
and Lamas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lamas connects with the punch.
Lamas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lamas swings for the body but Hardman moves out of range.
Hardman shoots and misses
and Lamas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lamas throws a hook but Hardman blocks it.
Hardman shoots in looking for a takedown. Lamas tries to sprawl out of it but Hardman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lamas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lamas looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Lamas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lamas throws a shot from downtown. Hardman moves away and avoids it.
Hardman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hardman shoots in looking for a takedown. Lamas tries to sprawl out of it but Hardman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lamas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hardman fails to land the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lamas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lamas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hardman.
And Hardman tries to counter it with a takedown but Lamas pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Lamas jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hardman shoots in for a takedown but Lamas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lamas darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hardman is defended easily by Lamas.

Hardman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lamas as he jumps to the side.
Lamas uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hardman fails with a takedown attempt.
Lamas was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cub Lamas dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Punt Hardman has been cut.

Are you kidding me?! Lamas ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Hardman clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
