Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Belcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boney Maroney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gregory Belcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Boney Maroney!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belcher scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Maroney has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Belcher is working away from the top position though.
Maroney tries to kick Belcher off but Belcher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Belcher seems to be working for a kimura but Maroney defends the submission attempt.
Maroney wants to get back to full guard but Belcher has passed into side control.
Maroney tries to improve position but can't.

Belcher working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Belcher is trying to get an arm triangle but Maroney is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
You can see the frustration on Maroney's face as Belcher controls the position.

Maroney is trying to control Belcher's posture but Belcher avoids it.
Belcher working the ground and pound but Maroney is defending the strikes.

Maroney avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Belcher.

Belcher tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Belcher wants to control but Maroney is keeping him busy.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
You can see the frustration on Maroney's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Belcher misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Maroney tries to buck Belcher off but Belcher is having none of it.

Belcher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Maroney, who protects the arm well.
Belcher happy to just control the position for now.
Maroney is trying to control Belcher's posture but Belcher avoids it.

Belcher looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Maroney tries to buck Belcher off but Belcher is having none of it.

Belcher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Maroney knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Belcher is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Maroney is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Maroney tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Belcher presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Belcher wants to finish this one by submission but Maroney is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Belcher.

Belcher jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Maroney manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Belcher tries for a kimura but Maroney is defending well.
Maroney is holding Belcher down, trying to stall.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maroney takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Belcher is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Maroney has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gregory Belcher dominated that round.

Belcher takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Belcher gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Maroney connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Belcher drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Belcher trying to control the position from guard on top but Maroney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Belcher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maroney is keeping the position for now.
Belcher is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

It looks like Boney Maroney has been cut.

Belcher trying to control but Maroney is working from the bottom.

Belcher wants to control from the top but Maroney keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belcher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Belcher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Maroney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belcher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Maroney wants to sweep here but Belcher controlling him for the moment.
Maroney keeping moving, preventing Belcher from controlling successfully.

Belcher drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Belcher seems to have locked his on tight now - Maroney screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Belcher, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Gregory Belcher!
After winning the bout, Gregory Belcher thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
