Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Truman Vang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Granger McComic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McComic has closed the distance and engaged Vang in a clinch.

Vang has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McComic clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

McComic manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.

Vang instigates a clinch.

McComic is looking for a sweep. Vang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vang connects with a nice short shot to McComic's temple.

McComic manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Vang turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vang manages to end up in side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Truman Vang will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McComic can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vang is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McComic can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Vang has control of McComic's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and McComic regains control of the situation pretty easily.
