The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarsson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Smith is trying to hold Ragnarsson in close to prevent damage but Ragnarsson has managed to pass into half guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Smith enables Ragnarsson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Smith manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Ragnarsson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Ragnarsson, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Ragnarsson against the cage but Ragnarsson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ragnarsson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Smith is rocked!
It looks like Oliver Smith has been cut.
Ragnarsson closes the distance looking for a takedown. Smith stuffs it but Ragnarsson still has hold of him. Ragnarsson picks Smith up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Ragnarsson slams Smith to the floor and that's really hurt Smith - he doesn't know where he is! Ragnarsson throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
