Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Snyder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Tyler will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyler darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snyder is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Snyder does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Snyder is trying to stand back up but Tyler is controlling him
Snyder keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Snyder trying to hold on to Tyler's head to control him but Tyler postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snyder manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tyler keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tyler pulls guard successfully.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tyler can do anything to dispel that myth.

Snyder gets to his feet. Tyler looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A shot to the body from Tyler misses

and Snyder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tyler won't be happy with that.

Snyder stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Snyder ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Snyder seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Tyler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tyler lands in his opponent's guard.

Snyder has his foot on Tyler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyler works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Snyder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Snyder seems keen to control Tyler's posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tyler cracks Snyder with a solid left hand.
Tyler trying to control the position from guard on top but Snyder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Tyler stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Snyder throws up his legs and catches Tyler in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Tyler tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Snyder! That came out of nowhere!
