Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos French!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biek moves into the clinch.

French breaks the clinch.
French dips to his left and cracks Biek with an uppercut!

Biek closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Biek - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Biek gets control of French's arms and successfully pulls guard. Biek will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

French has gone for a leg lock! Biek slips out almost immediately though and dives into French's guard.

Biek throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Biek with a flurry of punches that miss.
French can't keep his opponent in guard - Biek advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Biek not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Biek works his way into full mount!
French tries to reverse the position but Biek maintains control.
French really is a fat lump.
Biek controlling his opponent.
Biek throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
French might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
French tries to improve his position but instead Biek has taken his back!

Biek is cranking French's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for French! He's tightened the choke and French is tapping out!

Ron Biek spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
